  10.         │  The program GS represents a great deal of work - both       │
  11.         │  from a programming standpoint, to make it look pretty,      │
  12.         │  but also from the math standpoint.  If you use the          │
  13.         │  program, or like it enough to keep it around, please        │
  14.         │  consider sending a $5 contribution to continue to see       │
  15.         │  Public Domain software programs published from our firm.    │
  16.         │                                                              │
  17.         │  The program is designed to assist VHFers who are chasing    │
  18.         │  those far-off grid squares, and need an accurate beam       │
  19.         │  heading as well as an idea of distance.  Also, HFers can    │
  20.         │  use the program to calculate beam headings to far off       │
  21.         │  places.  It is a little more inconvenient for the HFers     │
  22.         │  though, since most DXers don't pass along their Grid        │
  23.         │  Square during a QSO.  If you are interested though, the     │
  24.         │  ARRL prints a nice World Grid Square locator which comes    │
  25.         │  in handy when doing heading and distance calculations       │
  26.         │  for DX locations.                                           │

  28.         │  This program is written in Microsoft QuickBASIC and         │
  29.         │  Microsoft Macro Assembler.  If the program does not         │
  30.         │  run on your machine, it is due to an incompatibility        │
  31.         │  with the Microsoft QuickBASIC run-time library and          │
  32.         │  there is not much we can do to correct that for you.        │
  33.         │                                                              │
  34.         │  There is a closing message from GS which mentions our       │
  35.         │  first commercially available product, The Jersey City       │
  36.         │  Keyer.  It is an exceptional addition to your operating     │
  37.         │  environment in the shack.  It can interfaced to both        │
  38.         │  your rig and a set of paddles (if you use paddles),         │
  39.         │  via a standard RS232 port.                                  │
  40.         │                                                              │
  41.         │  You may have seen our ads in either CQ or Radiosporting     │
  42.         │  magazine.  Both are outstanding sources for operating       │
  43.         │  hams.  In fact, Radiosporting ran a review of our keyer     │
  44.         │  in their November/December 1987 issue.  It does a good      │
  45.         │  job of overviewing the features and functions.              │
  46.         │                                                              │
  47.         │  If you would like more than just words about The Jersey     │
  48.         │  City Keyer, we offer a demo disk that has a limited         │
  49.         │  functional program from an earlier version of the keyer.    │
  50.         │  We recommend that you purchase the demo if you are even     │
