  1.                NEW ENTRY HELP

  3. This function allows you to add devices to the program's data file.  After
  4. a device is added, it can be used in the Design Cable option.
  5.  
  6. You were looking at the entry form that you must fill out.  When entering the
  7. pin functions, you need to use one of the standard abbreviations for it (see
  8. below).  When entering the direction of the signal on that pin, enter a F for
  9. From the Device, a T for To the Device, and N if the signal direction is Not
  10. Applicable.  Press the Enter key after you have entered an item, and you will
  11. advance to the next field.  You can use the up and down arrows to move to
  12. previous fields or to skip fields.  To move to the field to the left, use
  13. Ctrl-left arrow.  To move to the field to the right, use Ctrl-right arrow.  If
  14. you need to abandon the entry, press Ctrl-C.

  16. For the last field on the form, "TYPE", enter the type of device:  C for a
  17. computer, M for a modem, T for a terminal, or P for a printer.    After entering
  18. this item, the program check the form and add it to the data file if everything
  19. is valid.  If some information is incorrect or if some information is missing,
  20. the program will beep and place the cursor on the field that needs to be
  21. corrected.
