  3. Some of the files on this disk are in compressed format and cannot be used
  4. directly. The setup program, SETUP.EXE, will decompress the files and copy
  5. them to the appropriate locations. You also can use the Microsoft utility 
  6. "EXPAND" to uncompress individual files. The file "PIXPACK.LST" contains a 
  7. list of all the necessary files that must be present to run PixFolio.
  8.  
  9. To install PixFolio:
  10.  
  11. 1.  Start Windows if not already running.
  12.  
  13. 2.  Select the Program Manager File - Run command.
  14.  
  15. 3.  Enter "A:setup" (assuming that your floppy drive containing this diskette
  16.     is Drive "A". Otherwise, use drive "B" or whichever drive is appropriate
  17.     to your system's configuration.
  18.  
  19. IMPORTANT: If you are running setup from a hard disk, the files must be 
  20.     located in a directory named "DISK1"; for example "C:\anyname...\DISK1".

  24. NOTE!!!
  25.     If you get the following error message or similar(drive letters and
  26.     directories may differ):
  27.  
  28.     "File Copy Operation failed - incorrect number of bytes written to disk-
  29.     source file or destination disk may be corrupted - use chkdsk.
  30.     Source:'B:COMMDLG.DL_' Dest: "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\~COM3B43.TMP"

  32.     It is ok to press "Ignore".
