Transcription: What they were saying is they were kind of doing something a little bit backwards. What they would do is they would take a known winning position and store that in the computer and say, okay, whenever you get to this position computer, you've got to win and you don't have to look because it's a nice ten-move win. And then they had all of these series of winning positions that were locked in the computer. And then if the computer was in a middlegame and it ever found a thread that got to one of the wins, suddenly it was looking moves deep. That's right. Because it had this database behind it.
