  6. Q: UT hangs just after the start !
  7. A: Perhaps the environment variable ULTRASND includes a wrong IRQ or PORT. 
  8.    Start UT with: ultra -?.

  10. Q: My mouse cursor doesn't reach the bottom of the screen.
  11. A: Try a newer, updated version of your mouse driver.

  13. Q: When are you going to release a replay .obj for ULT files ?
  14. A: As soon, as I have some time left, coding a replay .obj !

  16. Q: Are you going to support Sound Blaster and comp. soundcards ?
  17. A: Perhaps in a future version of UT, not relly sure yet.

  20. A: I hope so. As soon as could get a keyboard, I'll include MIDI support to

  24. A: Sure, just mail me the format discription !

  26. Q: What do I receive by registering UT ?
  27. A: You'll receive a disk, containing the latest version of UT and a keyfile,
  28.    that allows you to run future versions of UT in registered mode.

  30. Q: Why didn't you replay to my mail ?
  31. A: I try to replay to every mail ! Sometimes I'm not at home and can't replay
  32.    that fast. Sometimes mail get lost... 
  33.    If you didn't get an answer, try it again !!

  35. Q: The screen update is slow, if many tracks are used.
  36. A: Speed problems...
  37.    - Don't use XMS memory, if you have an EMS memory manager installed
  38.      (like EMM386, etc.) only use a XMS manager (like HIMEM.SYS).
  39.    - If you don't need that much memory, disable XMS and EMS. (-e -x)
  40.    - Turn the PLAY'N EDIT button to ON. (SETUP/PLAY'N EDIT)
  41.    - Buy a faster computer :)

  43. Q: I need a stand alone player for .ULT files ... could you help me ?
  44. A: There are already a couple of players that support the .ULT format.
  45.    Some I know of are: metal player, inertia player, mikemod, GLX player.
  46.    Some player programs sound a little wired, but I think that will be fixed 
  47.    in later versions. I'm also going to release a stand alone player in the 
  48.    near future, so watch out ! :)
