  1. So, What's new for version 0.8g? (10/08/93)

  3.  - Removed some sample pop code; it was causing problems with notes being
  4.    skipped (sample pop code :(
  5.  - Now sample and song directories actually WORK! (Try setting them by
  6.    changing to the directory, then pressing ALT-F10 to save config)
  7.  - Plans have been made for SB and SBPro support; some work has shown that
  8.    it is possible without much extra trouble. This feature WILL however,
  9.    require 1 meg of EMS memory. GUS support will remain unchanged.
  10.  - Sticky volume has been added.
  11.  - Fixed format specs and C code (header len and version fields were swapped)

  14. So, What's new for version 0.8d? (10/06/93) (not released to public)

  16.  - Added rudementary pitch bend functions. Really, they only modify the
  17.    period value, so don't use a BIG value
  18.  - Fixed that dumb directory bug (PGDN)
  19.  - Added master volume control keys
  20.  - Actually started sending out registered copies (SOOOO SORRY!!!)
  21.  - Now S3M NAMES are displayed in directory listing (still don't load though)
  22.  - Now set volume block (ALT-V) sets only rows with notes on them
  23.  - Fixed most of the volume pops, and volume changes should be MUCH smoother
  24.    now! The only time you will hear a pop is if you DRAMATICALLY change
  25.    volumes quickly (F-0-F-0).
  26.  - Fixed most of the sample pops
  27.  - Bars are now nice and smooth (char redefinition)
  28.  - Added more video card support (check FAR.DOC)

  34.  - Added STM loading support (it's there but sounds awful in my opinion)
  35.  - Fixed "jump to songtext editor" bug
  36.  - Now sets 'special' video modes on exit from sample editor
  37.  - Same as above for shell to DOS
  38.  - TSENG SUPPORT IS FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  39.  - Centered the text "THIS COPY IS REGISTERED TO NOONE!!!!!!!!!!!"
  40.  - Added command line mode and video card support
  41.  - # for Digital Oxygene AND Data Connection in DIF.NFO were wrong!! SORRY!! :)
  42.  - Included my new internet address (only EMail and usenet, no irc.. sorry :(
  43.  - Forgot to mention that the ? command was not implemented yet (oops!!:)
  44.    But...that's not neccessary any more BECAUSE..
  45.  - Help with '?' key implemented
  46.  - "FIXED" equalizer bars - now it doesn't look like a big blob of puek
  47.  - Equalizer bars now reset after playing a song (eliminate the 'sticky' fx)
  48.  - Now the equalizer doesn't do channels that aren't on
  49.  - Eliminated a few pops here and there (probably)
  50.  - Fixed "sticky" ALT key when saving samples
  51.  - 16 bit samples now work up to a point; dunno what's wrong now..
  52.  - UnLooping now works - enter FFFFF to UNloop the sample
