  1. Notes About the Farandole Composer BETA!!!!

  4. Remember! THIS IS ONLY A BETA TEST VERSION!! WE KNOW IT HAS MANY BUGS!! 
  5. That's why we're asking YOU as a great user to send these bug reports in so
  6. that they may be fixed. Not only do I accept bug reports, but I also accept
  7. suggestions on how to improve the composer, file format, and everything else.
  8.  
  9. One final note, since not all functions are implemented, you may notice a few
  10. features listed in the dox that are not actually in the composer itself yet.
  11. Please be patient. I go to school and I have a *VERY* finite amount of time
  12. available for this project. This started originally as a program to get a 16
  13. channel system WE could use in demos, but it has grown (considerably).

  15. This MEANS that the functions like MOD, 669, etc export are not implemented
  16. yet, and neither is S3M support (loading OR saving). Since saving songs in
  17. other formats is a registered option, it will make little difference to the
  18. unregistered user. However, since the functions are not completed yet, they
  19. will not be available in the registered version until the next few releases
  20. later. Remember, the more registrations I get, the faster I work!

  25. I will take suggestions on improvements, etc, for about 2-3 weeks, then release
  26. another version with all the new stuff implemented. After that, I will either
  27. take more suggestions, bugs, etc, for another 2-3 weeks, or, if I see it fit,
  28. release a complete version.

  30. I will also be releasing a standalone player for FAR files that works with
  31. standard VGA and displays the songtext proudly :)

  33. You may include all piece of junk, BBS ads, etc, you want to in this file so
  34. long as you do NOT modify its original contents, and the number of BBS ads,
  35. etc does NOT exceed the number and/or size of original files the archive
  36. included.
