  7. ?-> what's the light version?
  8. !-> basically it is smaller, because picture(s) and animation(s) are
  9.     not included in that package. just copy it over an old version of cp
  10.     and be happy. the cp.exe files not differ in both releases and you
  11.     can also run the light version without an old version. so the light
  12.     version is some kind of update which also works without previous
  13.     versions.

  15. ?-> cp crashes... it worked in 0.96, but from 1.0 on cp keeps crashing when
  16.     loading the first or second module...
  17. !-> yes, it's a bug... 
  18.     it is probably due to the vesa-overlay option of your mouse 
  19.     driver... disable it if possible. 
  20.     also try loding your mouse driver as mouse.com in your autoexec.bat, and
  21.     not as mouse.sys in your config.sys

  23. ?-> cp sounds awful when i turn on echos or intepolation!
  24. !-> buy a better computer... no! but this is too much for your cpu... :(
  25.     (at least the way i do it.. :).  this often happens when DMA 0-3 is
  26.     selected.  if you can change the dma to 5-7, then do so, this really
  27.     helps much! you can also turn down the output rate (-crXXXXX),
  28.     the 32 channel output rate (-cqXXXXX), the stereo output or the 16bit
  29.     output.

  31. ?-> cp runs out of memory although mem tells me I have enough!
  32.     ("sound card initialisation failure" can sometimes be the same)
  33. !-> dos4gw doesn't use xms when ems is also available, change your memory 
  34.     configuration to either pure ems or pure xms.
