- Personal impressions:
-
- I think the rating says it all. This is pure shit. At least, for ME. I have
- seen people overthere who seemed to have a great time, but for me this club
- suxx.
- Once you enter the club there is a bar on the left side, and the dancefloor
- is on the right side. If you walk straight ahead you can enter a small (very
- small) chill out room. The lightshow is bad. Just a few spots and a 'luster'
- :) No lasers. Shit. The DJ is more busy with annoying the people by shouting
- through the mike than beatmixing. Even if he was beatmixing nicely, it would
- not prevent the music from being a disaster... This club was formerly known
- as 'La Boum' and was closed about 1 year ago. I think the DJ didn't buy any
- new records yet, coz he played old, boring stuff. If you like old, boring
- stuff then you surely must go to The Move :). Otherwise, forget it. The only
- reason why I went there was that I know a lot of people overthere.
- 'So, what is the style of music they play?', I hear you ask. Well, I heard
- a lot of oldies (and I mean oldies, like 80's and early 90's songs), commer-
- cial house and some of the very well known better house tracks - but again,
- old is the keyword (Playing with the voice in Germany, Cactus Rhythm, ...).
- Personally, I believe that (house) clubs should create 'hits'. I mean, the
- main goal should be to play as many new, good tracks as possible, together
- with some old ones. Not the opposite!
- Oh yeah, by the way... There is no drug control.
-
- Events coming up at The Move:

- Note:
-
- This series of txt files on Belgian Clubs is just for your information. This
- should never be considered positive or negative publicity whatsoever. The opini
- on is this of a biased person; you may find that a club which gets a lower ra-
- ting is better than one with a higher rating. However, MOST people can follow
- this as a guideline when choosing a place where they wanna go out.
