  19. > What's AquaNet and what's its goal ?
  20.  
  21. AquaNet is a growing network, that wants to serve two kinds of interest :
  22. Primary it's a network like many other networks are, with normal
  23. echos like general chatting topics and something like that. (see below!)
  24. But it should also be a network that deals with demos, intros,
  25. art-packs, musics, aso. and gives demogroups a way to directly
  26. release their newest productions to the public and to support the people
  27. who are interested in their productions.
  28. E.g. answers to questions about the latest release or general questions
  29. to a group, or something like that.
  30. But a difference to other demo-oriented networks is that anyone may
  31. join, no matter if he's already in the scene or not.
  32. This should give people, who have no experience with demos but
  33. are (very) interested in, the possibility to take a look inside the
  34. scene.

  135. A) The AquaNet-Coordinators have the right to refuse a BBS, who wants to
  136.    join the net, without telling the reason.

  138. B) The Coordinators take care for the nodelistings and sending these files
  139.    to the hosts every time they're updated.

  141. C) Every connected node is obliged to:
  142.    - to place the AquaNet-information-package on his/her BBS for free,
  143.      so that everyone can download them.
  144.      (Best for use with the Aqua-commercial bulletin!)
  145.    - connect to every area available to them.
  146.      (Except points!)

  148. D) The area marked 'sysops only' have to be only for sysops !
  149.    Do not put it on your BBS.

  151. E) Forwarding messages from the AquaNet into another Network is allowed
  152.    as far as its origin is mentioned.

  154. F) Pirate-Boards are not allowed to join.

  156. G) The Coordinators are not responsible for any illegal files been
  157.    hatched.

  159. H) The Sysop is responsible for what his user do, and not the
  160.    Coordinators.
