  16.    Most fire bombs are simply gasoline
  17. filled bottles with a fuel soaked rag
  18. in the mouth (the bottle's mouth, not
  19. yours). The original Molotov cocktail,
  20. and still about the best, was a mixture
  21. of one part gasoline and one part motor
  22. oil. The oil helps it to cling to what
  23. it splatters on.

  25.    Some use one part roofing tar and
  26. one part gasoline. Fire bombs have been
  27. found whcih were made by pouring melted
  28. wax into gasoline.

  32.             -\ Napalm /-

  35.     About the best fire bomb is napalm.
  36. It has a thick consistancy, like jam
  37. and is best for use on vehicles or
  38. buildings.
  39.  
  40.     Napalm is simply one part gasoline
  41. and one part soap. The soap is either
  42. soap flakes or shredded bar soap.
  43. Detergents won't do.
  44.  
  45.     The gasoline must be heated in
  46. order for the soap to melt. The usual
  47. way is with a double boiler where the
  48. top part has at least a two-quart
  49. capicity. The water in the bottom part
  50. is brought to a boil and the double
  51. boiler is taken from the stove and
  52. carried to where there is no flame.

  54.    Then one part, by volume, of
  55. gasoline is put in the top part and
  56. allowed to heat as much as it will
  57. and the soap is added and the mess is
  58. stirred until it thickens. A better
  59. way to heat gasoline is to fill a
  60. bathtub with water as hot as you can
  61. get it. It will hold its heat longer
  62. and permit a much larger container
  63. than will the double boiler.

  67.         -\ Match Head Bomb /-

  70.    Simple safety match heads in a pipe,
  71. capped at both ends, make a devestating
  72. bomb. It is set off with a regular fuse
  73.    A plastic Baggie is put into the
  74. pipe before the heads go in to prevent
  75. detonation by contact with the metal.
  76.    Cutting enough match heads to fill
  77. the pipe can be tedious work for one.

  81.     -\ Fuse Ignition Fire Bomb /-

  84.    A four strand homemade fuse is used
  85. for this. It burns like fury. It is
  86. held down and concealed by a strip of
  87. bent tin cut from a can. The exposed
  88. end of the fuse is dipped into the
  89. flare igniter. To use this one, you
  90. light the fuse and hold the fire
  91. bomb until the fuse has burned out
  92. of sight under the tin. Then throw it
  93. and when it breaks, the burning fuse
  94. will ignite the contents.
