  2.                      Update-information on AnsiPaint V2.2
  3.  
  4.         New items of the Version 2.2:
  5.  
  6.         * The filerequester  shows now  more  informations and is also
  7.         sorted alphabetically.
  8.  
  9.         * Files  can  now  be  loaded by  command-line-parameters (see
  10.         online-help for details).
  11.  
  12.         * The bug pressing Ctrl-PgDn in an image shorter than 23 lines
  13.         is corrected.
  14.  
  15.         * AnsiFonts can now be moved as close as possible to the lower
  16.         editor border.
  17.  
  18.         * Ctrl-Z picks up  the char at the cursor position, it becomes
  19.         the active char.
  20.  
  21.         * A few fonts were added.
  22.  
  23.         The following points have to be checked out before the instal-
  24.         lation of AnsiPaint 2.2 if the version 2.0 was used:
  25.  
  26.         * The HAP-file have  changed. Please  store old files as ANSI-
  27.         file and reload them in the new version.
  28.  
  29.         * So also AnsiKeep  has  changed. Don't forget to replace that
  30.         file also with the newer version.
  31.  
  32.         * The file ANSI.DSK has an altered structure. It should be de-
  33.         leted before running the new version.
  34.  
  35.         * The file ANSIFONT.DAT is now a plain text file and can be
  36.         changed with a usual text editor (fonts can be created with
  37.         APFEL, contained in this package).
  38.  
  39.         In the program itself the following items are changed:
  40.  
  41.         * The length of the editor. It no  goes to about 2 bill. lines
  42.         (if you have a few gbyte free memory...), 256 rows (also show-
  43.         able and saveable as Ansi-file but just 80 lines can be loaded
  44.         as ansi-file). Without  cache the  editor may be slowly consi-
  45.         dering scrolling but therefore there is almost no image limit.
  46.  
  47.         * Advanced AnsiFont-system. Small  and capitol  letters can be
  48.         used,  äöü and  other chars  also, a whole  line is entered an
  49.         positioned like block-pasting. The number of fonts has increa-
  50.         sed also, the fonts can even be created by yourself.
  51.  
  52.         * AnsiPaint is  now  bilingual. All  commands, help-texts  and
  53.         menues can be shown in German or English.
  54.  
  55.         * Advanced line-system. Lines  next to each other are not con-
  56.         nected any longer, patterned lines can be drawn.
  57.  
  58.         * Toolbars in the editor to chose the cursor position with the
  59.         mouse.
  60.  
  61.         * The active  char is  written now  with  Ctrl-Enter, a single
  62.         Enter causes line feed.
  63.  
  64.         *  PgUp  und  PgDn  changes the cursorposition also an not the
  65.         active char.
  66.  
  67.         *   Strg-PgUp  und Strg-PgDn  jump to the first/ the last line
  68.         of the image.
  69.  
  70.         * Ctrl-A picks up the colour at the cursor position, it becomes
  71.         the active colour.

  73.         * The last loaded  image is  not shown  any longer after start,
  74.         but therefore
  75.  
  76.         * The last four edited files are listet in the load-file menue.
  77.  
  78.         * Cursor home- and clear  screen-commands can be placed at the
  79.         beginning of an image.
  80.  
  81.         * Form-feed chars (dec 12) can  be placed after a chosen line-
  82.         distance, and also cursor-home or clear screen-commands can be
  83.         inserted after that.
  84.  
  85.         * Optional quit-message before leaving AnsiPaint.
  86.  
  87.         * Wildcards can be used in the lister now.
  88.  
  89.         * The option CR/LF has been  abolished and is switched now au-
  90.         tomatically.

  92.         * The screensaver hase been removed due to a bug.
