  2. Please note the following before trying the TBAV-for-Windows version.

  4. 1)  TBAVW requires the presence of the TBAV-for-DOS version . The latter
  5.     contains necessary components like the signature file. You can NOT
  6.     use the Windows version at all without the corresponding
  7.     TBAV-for-DOS version.
  8.  
  9. 2)  TBAVW will be able to work without any of the resident DOS TBAV
  10.     utilities, but certain features will only function when TbDriver and
  11.     TbScanX from the TBAV DOS version have been loaded before Windows.

  13. 3)  TBAVW requires that you use the Install.Exe program. If you just
  14.     unpack the archive into the destination directory, TBAVW will NOT
  15.     work correctly. The best thing you can do is to unpack the TBAVW
  16.     archive on a RAM disk or floppy disk, and then use the Install
  17.     program from within Windows to install TBAVW into the final
  18.     destination directory.

  20. 4)  Some features like the creation of a LOG file are available to
  21.     registered users only. The standard DOS registration is not valid
  22.     for TBAVW. The TBAV-for-DOS 'Register' program contains the
  23.     information how to register for both the TBAV DOS and Windows
  24.     version. Shareware users who have already registered the full DOS
  25.     package can buy a Windows extension key for a reduced fee (50% of
  26.     the initial DOS registration fee). Please call for information.
