  287.    Used to delete files when a mouse is present.  If you
  288. drag an object such as a folder or a file over the Trash
  289. Icon that object will be deleted.

  291.    The Trash Icon, like the disk Icons, can be moved 
  292. anywhere on the desktop.  Just Click and hold the Icon
  293. while draging it to its new location.

  295. [DISK ICONS]
  296. DISK ICONS:
  297.  
  298.    Disk Icons represent the disk drives on your system.
  299. If you double-click on one, a window will open representing
  300. the root folder for that drive.  Multiple root folders can
  301. be opened from a single drive.  This allows you to access 
  302. multiple paths on a drive at the same time.  Like the Trash
  303. Icon, the Disk Icons can be moved anywhere on the desktop.
  304. Just Click and hold the Icon while draging it to its new
  305. location.

  307. [FOLDER ICON]
  308. FOLDER ICON:
  309.  
  310.    A Folder Icon represents a subdirectory in the current 
  311. directory.  If you double-click on one, a window will open
  312. representing that folder. You can copy or move the folder
  313. by draging it over another window or delete it by dragging
  314. it over the trash Icon.  
  315.  
  316. *NOTE* !ALL FILES AND SUBDIRS IN THIS FOLDER ARE AFFECTED!

  318. [OTHER ICONS]
  319. OTHER ICONS:
  320.  
  321.    MODE ICON: This is the Icon on the Menu Bar.  It repres-
  322. ents the Copy or Move mode for dragging objects.  One disk 
  323. followed by an arrow means you are in "MOVE" mode.  Anything
  324. you drag will be moved to its destination and the original
  325. will be removed.  Two disks with an arrow in the center 
  326. means you are in "COPY" mode.  Anything you drag will be
  327. copied to its destination and the original is left in tact.

  329. [FILE ICONS]
  330. FILE ICONS:
  331.  
  332.    File Icons represent the files on your system.
  333.  
  334.    EXE files are blue, COM files are red, and BAT files are
  335.    tan.  If you double-click on one of these, the program
  336.    it represents will be executed.  All other files are
  337.    represented by a sheet of folder paper.  If you double-
  338.    click on one, a window will open letting you view it's
  339.    contents.  All files can be dragged, ie.. copied, moved
  340.    or deleted.

  342. [SMALL ICONS]
  343. SMALL ICONS:
  344.    
  345.    The default configuration for All Icons in a window is
  346. large.  If you would like to view the files with details
  347. Select "Small Icons" from the "Special" menu.  All Icons
  348. in the current window will be changed, and will stay that
  349. way until you change them or close the window.

  351. [LARGE ICONS]
  352. LARGE ICONS:
  353.  
  354.    The standard Icon size is large.  Fewer details about
  355.    the files they represent are available, but locating
  356.    a file is easier from this view.
  357.  
  358. [DRAG OBJECT]
  359. DRAG OBJECT:         Click = Press Left Mouse Button
  360.  
  361.    Click on the object, hold the button down while moving
  362.    the object to desired location, release button.
  363.  
  364.    If the destination for the object is invalid, the object
  365.    will return to it's original position, and in some cases
  366.    a message will appear explaining why the event was 
  367.    canceled.

  369. [COPY FILES]
  370. COPY FILES:
  371.    
  372.    There are two ways to copy files.  Use the mouse to drag
  373.    the file to it's destination, or use the "Files" menu to
  374.    select the "Copy Files" dialog box.
  375.  
  376.    "Destination" is another open window or the trash icon!

  379. MOVE FILES:

  381.    There are two ways to move files.  Use the mouse to drag
  382.    the file to it's destination, or use the "Files" menu to

  390.       Select "Move Mode" from the "Special" menu. The Icon 
  391.       on the Menu Bar will change to a single disk with an

  397.       Select "Copy Mode" from the "Special" menu. The Icon 
  398.       on the Menu Bar will change to a double disk with an
  399.       arrow in the center.

  404.    1. Click the left button on the desired Bar Menu Item.   
  405.    2. Click the left button on the desired item in the 
  406.       resulting drop down menu.

  408.    You can also click-and-hold the left button down until
  409.    the pointer is on the desired selection and release.

  433.             bar.  Drag to the desired location and release

  438.             <ENTER> to confirm or <ESC> to cancel.

  443.    MOUSE:   Click-and-hold the "resize box" located in the 
  444.             lower right corner of the window.  Drag until 
  445.             desired size and release button.

  447.    KEYBRD:  Press <CTRL+R> and use the arrow keys to resize
  448.             the window.  Press <ENTER> to confirm or <ESC> 
  449.             to cancel.

  451. [ZOOM WINDOW]
  452. ZOOM WINDOW:

  454. MOUSE:   Click on the "Zoom Box" located in the top right
  455.          corner of the window.  The window will enlarge to
  456.          its maximum size.  Click the box again to UnZoom.

  458. KEYBRD:  Press <CTRL+Z> to zoom the current window.  Press
  459.          <CTRL+Z> again to unzoom.
  460.  
  461. NOTE:    A zoomed window is not resizable.  All other 
  462.            functions are available.

  464. [CLOSE WINDOW]

  467.    MOUSE:   Click on the "Close Box" located in the top left
  468.             corner of the window.

  488.    "name" of the icon and type in the new name!
