  4. In the upper left hand corner of the keyboard is a key labeled "F1". This is 
  5. function key one. What pressing F1 does will depend on what program is being 
  6. executed at the time the key is pressed. With some programs that are purchased
  7. separately from DOS, this key is used to request 'help'. Levels of DOS prior
  8. to 4.0 did not have a 'help' key. With DOS 4.0 and DOSSHELL, or with OS/2, 
  9. F1 is the 'help' key for the HELP command supplied with the operating system.
