  1. Ctrl Key

  3. The Ctrl key is used in combination with letter keys and keys like Break, 
  4. NumLock, and Return, to indicate that the Ctrl key is to be held down, and 
  5. WHILE HOLDING IT DOWN, the other key is to be pressed. Ctrl-A through Ctrl-Z 
  6. are used to enter the control characters. See the ASCII definition for a 
  7. list of the control characters. A few Ctrl key combinations are commands to 
  8. DOS, as follows. Not all of these are always present, and others may do other
  9. things on your computer. The Ctrl keys are explained in more detail in the
  10. SUMMARY topic. An asterisk (*) indicates DOS 3.2 and later commands.
