  7. DATE is an internal command that lets you see the current date DOS is using 
  8. and change that date if you want. This date is recorded with any file you 
  9. create or modify. If you change the date, you probably also want to use the 
  10. TIME command to change the time. The order of dd, mm, and yy is determined
  11. by the COUNTRY line in the CONFIG.SYS file.

  13.   DATE                When DATE by itself is entered, the current

  16.                 leave the date unchanged.
