  3. The INSTALL line in CONFIG.SYS will install a terminate-and-stay-resident
  4. (TSR) type of program more efficiently than the previous method of initially
  5. executing it in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. A TSR program is a command entered 
  6. from the keyboard, like any other program. The program runs and terminates, 
  7. and a prompt is printed by DOS, requesting the next command. However, the
  8. TSR program is still in memory, along with DOS, and both DOS and the TSR
  9. program will now respond to keyboard commands. Only a few TSR programs can 
  10. presently be installed in this way.
