  6. MidiPlay 2.31d can play format 0 and 1 MIDI files. It can also print their
  7. contents. This version requires KS 2.04 or greater.  If you want to play
  8. MIDI files and really hear them, your Amiga should be connected to a synth
  9. via MIDI interface. This program is giftware.
  10.  
  11. New features since v2.24:
  12.  
  13. o Configuration file will be loaded as ENV:MidiPlay/MidiPlay.prefs
  14.   or MidiPlay.prefs unless defined with SETTINGS=filename tooltype!
  15.   You MUST define SETTINGS=S:midiplay.config, if you want to use your
  16.   old version, or rename it to MidiPlay.prefs
  17. o Window positions with open/closed and zoom information can be saved
  18. o NOTEON and NOTEOFF commands
  19. o FORWARD command requires now a value!
  20. o AppWindow and AppIcon
  21. o MIDICLOCK option

  25. o grahpical user interface lets you load and play MIDI files easily
  26. o files can be played from the playlist
  27. o Playlist window for editing the playlist and selecting from it
  28. o GM support: program change mapping (with bank changes), drum mapping
  29. o the reset message resets MIDI equipments to the factory setup
  30. o ARexx support: MidiPlay recognizes over 90 different ARexx commands
  31. o with MESSAGEREXX, FILENAMEREXX and FILETYPEREXX parameters you can
  32.   e.g. hear messages and filenames via say command, view text files
  33.   associated with MIDI files or decompress archived MIDI files
  34. o VOLUMECHANGE feature lets you increase/decrease volume on any channel
  35. o lyric window with scrolling lyric
  36. o MIDI channels can be muted or soloed
  37. o MIDI events can be transposed
  38. o program change, pitch bender, sysex message filter
  39. o external and internal sync
  40. o MIDI merge
