  9.     The File Menu contains commands
  10. that let you open and save files, save a
  11. configuration to disk, print a data file,
  12. and export data.

  16.  
  17.     The File|New menu item contains two 
  18. menu commands: Data Sheet and Plot.  
  19.  
  20.   ■ Data Sheet:  This command creates a
  21.     sheet window.

  23.   ■ Plot:  This command creates a plot
  24.     window.

  29.     The File|Open menu item contains two 
  30. menu commands: Data Sheet and Plot.

  33.     TechPlot Data file.

  36.     Graph file.

  48.     The File | Merge Plot command lets you
  49. bring graphs from a saved TechPlot file to
  50. the current page.

  53. █  Save Configuration

  55.     This command appears on the File menu
  56. as Save Config.  It saves the current
  57. TechPlot preferences and configurations to
  58. a disk file.  The configuration file
  59. contains the printer options such as
  60. printer port, age mode, etc.; numerical
  61. options such as user-defined function,
  62. min-max value, number of points, etc.;
  63. plot setup options such as symbol type,
  64. color, size, etc.

  69.     This command loads the configuration
  70. options from a disk file to the current
  71. TechPlot preferences and configurations.

  74. █  Set Printer
  75.  
  76.     The File | Set Printer command lets
  77. you select a target printer and set page
  78. options (if the selected printer is
  79. different from the currently used
  80. printer).

  117.     The File | Set Page command lets you set
  118. the page options for the currently selected
  119. printer.

  124.     The File | Print command lets you print
  125. the graphs in the active plot view.  Please
  126. make sure that a printer is properly
  127. connected to your computer and that is
  128. turned on before you choose this command.

  130.     If you have set the printer port to
  131. FILE, the Save File As dialog box will be
  132. displayed to let you enter a proper disk
  133. file name.

  136. █  Batch Print
  137.  
  138.     The File | Batch Print command lets you
  139. print the multiple TechPlot graphics files
  140. to printer.  It displays the Batch Print
  141. dialog box.  You can select the TechPlot
  142. graphics files (with "*.PSG" extension) to
  143. print.

  146. █  DOS Shell
  147.  
  148.     The File|DOS Shell command allows you 
  149. temporarily exit TechPlot to the DOS
  150. command line.  To return to TechPlot, type
  151. EXIT and press <Enter>.

  155.  
  156.     The File|Exit command exits TechPlot,
  157. removes it from memory, and returns you
  158. to the DOS command line.
