  7. █  How to use TechPlot help system
  8.  
  9.     The Help Menu gives you access to the
  10. TechPlot on-line help system in a special
  11. dialog box.
  12.  
  13.     To open the TechPlot Help dialog box,
  14. do one of the following actions:
  15.  
  16.     · Press <F1> at any time except from
  17.       a dialog box or when a menu command
  18.       is selected.
  19.  
  20.     · Choose one of the command under the
  21.       Help Menu, except About command.
  22.  
  23.     To close the TechPlot Help dialog box,
  24. press <ESC> or click the Done button in
  25. the dialog box.
  26.  
  27.     The TechPlot Help dialog box contains
  28. several buttons and an inputline.
  29.  
  30.   File Viewer:  This is the area that
  31.     displays the help file text.  You can
  32.     use up and down arrow keys or
  33.     <Page Up> and <Page Dn> keys to scroll
  34.     the text in the File Viewer.
  35.  
  36.   Index Button:  Click this button to
  37.     display the TechPlot help index list
  38.     file which contains a full list of
  39.     help topics.

  41.   Previous Button:  Click this button to
  42.     display the help file which has the
  43.     index preceding the current index.
  44.     For example, if the current index is
  45.     5, then the previous index is 4.
  46.     The index of the TechPlot Index file
  47.     is 0.

  49.   Next Button:  Click this button to
  50.     display the help file which has the
  51.     index one greater than the current
  52.     index.

  54.   Topic Button:  Click this button to
  55.     display the TechPlot help topic list
  56.     file which contains a full list of
  57.     help topics.

  59.   Current Index:  This inputline has two
  60.     functions:
  61.       1) it displays the current topic
  62.          index;
  63.       2) it can be used as the input for
  64.          a special index request by the
  65.          user.

  67.   View Button:  Click this button to view
  68.     the help topic that has the index
  69.     shown in the Current Index inputline.

  71.   Done Button:  Click this button to close
  72.     the TechPlot Help dialog box.
