- █ The status line

- The status line appears at the bottom
- of the screen. It is mainly used for
- command sensitive on-line help and display
- of the Clock view.

- █ Help/Hint

- This is the left part of the status
- line. It has the following functions:

- · Reports program status during lengthy
- calculations, disk operations, etc.
- For example, it displays "Loading data
- file ..." when you open a data file.
- · Displays an on-line hint for the
- selected menu command.

- █ Clock/MemAvail/MousePos
-
- This is the right part of the status
- line. It contains three views that the
- user can switch among by clicking this
- view. The first view is a 24 hour digital
- clock; the second view displays the DOS
- conventional memory available; the third
- view shows the current mouse position on
- the screen (top-left corner is positioned
- as [0,0] ).
