ThunderScan files are the ~F4~SCAN~F3~ files created by the ThunderScan hardware and software package.
~SB~Opening ThunderScan Files:~SB~
Vision Lab only loads the raw image found within the ThunderScan file. Any other extra ThunderScan preferences or settings are ignored by Vision Lab.
~SB~Saving ThunderScan Files:~SB~
Vision Lab ~SU~cannot~SU~ save files in the ThunderScan format.
~SB~ThunderScan¬ Preferences╔:~SB~
You have two choices when loading ThunderScan files. Selecting ~SB~4 Bit (16 gray levels)~SB~ loads a lower quality image but saves ~SU~a~SU~ ~SU~lot~SU~ of space if you are planing on converting the file into a gray scale PICT. Selecting ~SB~5 Bit (32 gray levels)~SB~ loads the image using the full 32 gray levels ThunderScan is capable of producing.
