  23. This appendix lists some Sun-related constraints on NCSA 
  24. CompositeTool version 1.1.
  25.  
  26. Running CompositeTool on the Sun Workstation under SunOS 
  27. 4.x, presents some limitations, including the following:

  30. Ñ    CompositeTool  behaves as though it is running from the present 
  31. working directory from which you have invoked it (for 
  32. example, your home directory). You must take this fact into 
  33. account when specifying files. To avoid any possible confusion, 
  34. use full pathnames when specifying files.

  36. Ñ    On Sun systems with a monochrome overlay plane, the startup 
  37. logo will only flash briefly on the screen unless you run 
  38. SunView with the -8 bit_color_only option.
