  1. Dear User of Geometry Center Software:

  3. We would like to find out how you are using our software.  Think of
  4. Geometry Center software as a new kind of shareware: you share your
  5. science and successes with us, and we share our software and support
  6. with you.  The Geometry Center is funded by the National Science
  7. Foundation, and it is important that we be able to report to NSF the
  8. ways in which our software is being used.
  9.  
  10. If you use Geometry Center software, please send us a letter telling
  11. us what you are doing with it.
  12.  
  13. We need to know:
  14.  
  15.   (1) What you are working on - an abstract of your work would be
  16.       fine.
  17.  
  18.   (2) What Geometry Center software you use.
  19.  
  20.   (3) How that software has helped you, for example, by increasing
  21.       your productivity or allowing you to do things you could not do
  22.       before.  In particular, if you feel that Geometry Center
  23.       software has had a direct bearing on your work, please tell us
  24.       about this.

  26. We encourage you to cite the use of any Geometry Center software you
  27. have used in your publications.
