  1. Short: Simple Mandelbrot generator for Retina   
  2.   
  3. This is Version 0.1 of "Retina Mandelbrot," a Mandelbrot 
  4. set generator which outputs its graphics directly upon 
  5. the Retina graphics card for the Amiga computer. This 
  6. program branches very simplistic; not only does it not 
  7. support zooming or other nifty features such as color 
  8. cycling, but it also is not very optimized. On a 760 by 482 
  9. screen, it will take approximately ten minutes to render 
  10. a full Mandelbrot set. The program uses the so-called 
  11. "divide and conquer" algorithm.   
  12.   
  13. Future improvements will include: a fully intuitionized
  14. user interface; zooming, panning, and other gross
  15. movement operations; and support for color cycling.
  16. Of course, I will attempt to make this program much
  17. faster.
