  2. (R)ead Messages - Function Help

  5. Subcommands:  (#) (E) (C) (F) (Y) (S) (NS) (+) (-) (RM) (TS) (NEXT) (PREV)

  7.               (#) a message number between 1 and 9999999
  8.               (E) allows entering a message
  9.               (C) allows entering a comment
  10.               (F) selects only messages left by you
  11.               (Y) selects only messages left for you
  12.               (S) selects messages above the last one you have read
  13.               (NS) displays text in non-stop mode
  14.               (RM) re-read previously "memorized" message number
  15.               (RM+) re-read "memorized" message number plus forward read
  16.               (RM-) re-read "memorized" message number plus backwards read
  17.               (+) or (-) added to the end of a (#) forces either a
  18.                   forward or reverse read respectively.
  19.               (+) alone reads messages forward from present position
  20.               (-) alone reads messages backwards from present position
  21.               (TS) search message headers for specific text
  22.               (NEXT) reads next higher message number available
  23.               (PREV) reads next lower message number available
  24.               (Enter) alone ends message read function

  26.               Message numbers and the other commands above can be
  27.               stacked if desired.  (i.e. 'R F Y S', etc.)

  29. Description:  Allows reading messages left on the system.  All public
  30.               messages will be displayed, along with private messages
  31.               left either by you or for you.  If a message has more
  32.               display lines than what your (P)age Length is set for,
  33.               a "(H)elp, More?" prompt will appear asking for your
  34.               input.  Multiple message numbers to read can be entered
  35.               on the same command line if desired.  Additionally,
  36.               combinations of the above commands can be entered on the
  37.               same command line if desired.
