  2. (Y)our Mail Check - Function Help

  5. Subcommands:  (A) (S) (NS) (+) (-) (C)
  6.  
  7.               (A)  scans all message bases
  8.               (S)  scans only for mail left since the last message read
  9.               (C)  limits scan to current message base only
  10.               (+)  or (-) forces the direction of the scan
  11.               (Q)  display in Quick Scan format
  12.               (L)  display in Long Scan format
  13.               (NS) displays text output in non-stop mode
  14.  
  15. Description:  Allows checking for mail left to you or from you in a message
  16.               base.  The above commands can be entered in combination on the
  17.               same line to limit the scan function as desired.  The default for
  18.               the (Y) command is to scan the current message base only, in
  19.               reverse direction, checking for mail left by you as well as for
  20.               mail addressed to you and to scan the complete message base, from
  21.               the end of the file to the beginning.

  23.               You can select which areas you want to be scanned when using the
  24.               (A) subcommand by typing SELECT or by using the (W)rite User Info
  25.               command.

  27. Quick Scan:   The Quick Scan format provides a display that looks something
  28.               like this:
