  2. (CHAT) or (NODE) Node CHAT - Function Help

  5. Subcommands:  (#) (G) (A) (U)
  6.  
  7.               (#) is any other active Node Number
  8.               (G) places you in Group CHAT with others
  9.               (A) flags your Node as being available for CHAT (default)
  10.               (U) flags your Node as being Unavailable for CHAT
  11.  
  12. Description:  Allows interactive keyboard conversation with one or more other
  13.               system nodes.  To CHAT with only one other node, enter that
  14.               node's number.  To CHAT with a group of nodes, enter (G).  If a
  15.               Node is unavailable for CHAT, you will be advised of such.  If
  16.               the Node requested is available, they will be informed of your
  17.               request.  When entering (G)roup CHAT, only other Nodes which are
  18.               already in Group CHAT will be advised that you have joined them.

  20.               When in Node CHAT, the following subcommands are available:

  22.               (Q), (E), (U), (H)

  24.                   (Q) quits Node CHAT
  25.                   (E) also quits Node CHAT
  26.                   (U) displays the status of the other Nodes
  27.                   (H) gives a quick display of these subcommands

  29.               When conversing in Node CHAT, there can be delays between when
  30.               you enter your text to the other person, and the time it takes
  31.               them to respond.  Since text is only sent to the other Node when
  32.               an (Enter) key or word-wrap occurs, there can be time periods of
  33.               several seconds between text coming back to your screen.  Please
  34.               WAIT until it is your turn to type!  End your text with a "/ga"
  35.               or "/o" to indicate it is the other person's turn to type - and
  36.               then WAIT!
