-
- 01-30-90 Fix to export processing which in rare instances, caused
- remainder of message base being exported to be bypassed
- even though outgoing messages were pending.
-
- 01-19-90 Fix to network nodelist file processing to insure that
- records are updated and that outdated records are discarded
-
- 01-10-90 Added displays to indicate when imported mail packet contains
- messages addressed to sysop.
-
- 01-03-89 Added display to indicate when message base is locked during
- import processing.
-
- 01-01-89 NetDoor is now share compatible. This means that multiple
- nodes can use the door simultaneously to transfer the mail!
- There are a few steps you NEED to take prior to running this
- version, so PLEASE read the NetMail documentation concerning the
- work directory!!!
-
- Added new fields upon which the Refer to and duplicate message
- checking occurs. For this reason, ALL members of the network
- MUST convert to 4.1 simultaneously (or close to that anyway)
- or the refer to processing will be incorrect until everyone
- is at 4.1. That will be the only negative impact!
-
-
- 11-05-89 Check for event slide prior to dumping user back to PCBoard
- when event is pending within 15 minutes.
-
- Added automated network-wide nodelist maintenance function.
- ADDED 5th NETDOOR COMMAND LINE PARAMETER: SEE SAMPLE NETDOOR
- FILE AND NETDOOR DOCUMENTATION!
-
- Check for existence of conference prior to processing it.
-
- Changed countdown time when LOCK.NET encountered from 5 minutes
- to 1 minute.
-
- Allows caller to specify whether or not to re-receive last mail
- successful mail transfer.
-
-
- 05-30-89 Several enhancements to NetMail config, import and export
- programs, creation of NetStat.exe, see NetMail HISTORY file
- and docs for further details. No change to NetDoor.
-
- 05-12-89 Removed TCAN capability from HUB or regional HUB systems. This
- function is reserved for destination nodes only.
-
-
- 05-10-89 Fix for tag line problem previously thought to be corrected in
- NetDoor 3.3.
-
- Significantly reduced memory requirements during all export and
- import functions in all .exe files.
-
-
- 05-06-89 Disabled ALL private message and echo=yes message handling in
- NetDoor. These editing functions are now reserved for the target
- node system only.
-
- Added ability for door to select ONLY messages addressed to users
- on the calling node's system.
-
- Expanded BBS.NET file. See CONVBBS.EXE and CONVBBS.DOC.
-
-
- 04-30-89 Fixed HUB's receiving of node SEND files.
-
- Added detailed logging information to PCBoard caller log. Now,
- number of messages imported and exported to and from the calling
- node are recorded for each conference networked.
-
- Removed need to specify DSZPORT in NETDOOR batch file. Remove
- the following from your NETDOOR batch file:
-
- SET DSZPORT=x
-
-
-
- 04-29-89 Allowed NODE to override "last message exported" on the HUB
- system's BBS.NET file for any conference. This allows NODES
- to receive mail already received, or if desired, capture an
- entire message base.
-
- Added personalized greeting to NetDoor.
-
-
- 04-26-89 Added time function to NetDoor to allow HUB Sysop to make
- NetDoor "unavailable" during specified hours. (in order to
- free the HUB system for the general public).
-
- Added "Echo Message?" check in export function of NetDoor.
- If configured in CONFIG.EXE, NetDoor will only export messages
- from a conference in which the creator of the message responded
- "Y" to the prompt: "Echo Message?" from PCBoard or ProDoor.
-
- NOTE: Record layout expansions require that you execute CONVERT.EXE
- prior to any 3.0 operations. Please see main NetMail package
- and file convert.doc for further details.
-
-
- 04-23-89 Increased STACK space in NetDoor from 4000 to 5500.
-
- Added information to documentation concerning the setting of
- the environment variable PRODEBUG=ON in order to capture all
- NetDoor screen activity.
-
- Corrected TCAN processing which was improperly handling index
- file pointers when TCAN processing occurred.
-
- 04-17-89 Fixed NetDoor import function to properly handle index files
- on message bases which have zero messages (such as newly
- created message bases), and 1 message (such as a "starter"
- message in a new message base).
-
- 04-16-89 Fixed Network Indicator check. Calling nodes were able to receive
- conference mail even though the HUB system had specified "N"
- in the network indicator for that conference.
-
- Enhanced display of error messages.
-
- 04-15-89 Door now uses 21K less memory than NetDoor 2.2. Some users were
- still reporting "insufficient memory" messages with the PKZIP
- command to pack outgoing mail.
-
- added "slow" parameter to DSZ send of outgoing mail packet
- to enhance high speed transfers.
-
- 04-13-89 Reformatted NODELIST file created via the NODE's export request
- to be more "readable".
-
- 04-10-89 Altered compression of outgoing mail packet to use 23K less
- memory. This was causing problems in some DoubleDos
- environments.
-
- Added 4th NetDoor command line parameter to indicate location
- of PKZIP.EXE. Please see sample NETDOOR batch file.
-
- 04-09-89 NetDoor 2.0 released.
-
- HUB now automatically Imports and Exports mail received
- from the calling NODE. No need for the HUB to perform these
- functions manually.
-
- Door now generates nodelist of all participating nodes at
- calling NODE's request.
-
- Error.net no longer created as this door error detection function
- is no longer required.
-
- 03-13-89 Added Error Control mechanism to allow for bypassing
- of outside batch processes such as HUB export and import
- should the door terminate abnormally.
-
- 03-08-89 Follow-up to ALT-A fix in Conference Add function.
-
- 03-07-89 Corrections to DOOR locking mechanism.
-
- 03-05-89 Fix for BBS.NET corruption problem.
-
- 03-02-89 Further enhanced I/O processing.
-
- 02-26-89 Enhanced SEND to maintain "info" record on file being
- sent. This allows 1 copy of sent file to remain in FILES
- directory for all target BBSes rather than a separate copy
- for each.
-
- Increased mail delivery performance by not processing incoming
- conferences with 0 length.
-
- 02-25-89 Allow SEND to "ALL" participating NODEs with single command.
-
- 02-22-89 Initial release.
