  25. NOTE:  I have -nosound in the Parameters area only because I dislike having
  26. to disable Windows sound events and then restart Windows. Mind you, Doom
  27. is no fun without the sound.  I use these settings only to test levels that
  28. I have edited in Windows (which I don't really do that much anymore. I use
  29. DEU in DOS).

  31. For sound, remove the -nosound parameter and disable Windows sound events in
  32. Control Panel.  Restart Windows.  Doom away.  Also, this applies only to
  33. Soundblaster cards as far as I know for sure (since it works for mine). Other
  34. cards may not be so forgiving.  Compatibles should be okay.
