- IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
- To use this program effectively, you must do one important thing...
-
- You must configure the config.bat...
-
- If you have an eight bit card, and the VESA bios extension for it, you must
- simply edit the paths in the config.bat file to point to where the required
- files are on your machine.
-
- If you have a 24 bit card and VESA extension, rename config24.bat to
- config.bat (after renaming the old one), then edit the paths.
-
- If you don't have or don't wish to use VESA, you must edit config.bat if you
- have an eight-bit card, or rename config24.bat to config.bat and then edit
- THAT if you have a true color card.
-
- In any case, you must select the driver, then set the paths so they are
- correct on your machine.
-
- If you are confused, read vmpeg.doc. Keep in mind that it will refer to
- vmpeg.bat and vmpeg24.bat instead of config.bat and config24.bat. Config.bat
- IS vmpeg.bat, and config24.bat IS vmpeg24.bat. They are just renamed to
- prevent confusion with the proper executeable, mpegshow.bat...
-
- If you have a better version of vmpeg, go ahead and replace the one here, but
- rename the batch file you are used to running to config.bat...
-
- Now go read readme.doc..
- Ob. politeness: (please)
