  2.                       BONDS LAST STAND by Hugh Grove

  5. This animation was created with the help of DELUXE PAINT 4 and THE
  6. ANIMATION STATION.
  7.  
  8. In all it took me only three weeks to complete the actual graphics
  9. for this animation, it was the time it took me to find a program
  10. that would allow me to add sound that caused any delay.
  11.  
  12. I tried THE DISNEY ANIMATION STUDIO but found it to be a bit heavy
  13. on the old memory, plus their "Player" program was not distributable.
  14.  
  15. As for DELUXE PAINT 4. Superb when it comes to drawing, but the timing
  16. isn't flexible, and of course no sound.
  17.  
  18. I then tried MOVIESETTER. Although this is a very good program with
  19. lots of features, I couldn't quite get it to do what I wanted it to.

  21. So in desperation I turned to THE ANIMATION STATION, ( a freebie with
  22. AMIGA FORMAT, issue 37 ) and found that although it kept crashing I
  23. could get it to do the things I required with the minimum of fuss.
  24. The only annoying limitation I found was that it would only allow me
  25. to use 8 different sound effects, although I could use them as many
  26. times as I liked.

  28. You can view this animation ( minus its sound effects ) in either
  29. DELUXE PAINT 3 or 4, or indeed any animation package that supports
  30. ANIM Files.
