- ~~~~~
- Some days after the triumphant return of the three MIA squad members, a huge
- explosion rocks the military ops base of your Assault squad. The civilian
- computer operators inform you that an attack is underway by the rival
- corporation you foiled in your first mission, before leaving rather quickly.
-
- Sure enough, a glance at a scanner confirms this report. The enemy is
- attacking on two fronts, East and West, and the unfortunate security guard
- at the West gate was the first casualty. Each enemy squad is led by a
- Terminator! (not to be confused with the fictional "Terminator", note the
- lack of the exclamation mark), a hugely powerful and well-armed droid who
- will do you in as soon as look at you. Your job is to make these
- Terminator!s into ex-Terminator!s.
-
- Once the Terminator!s have been destroyed, the back-up squads will be
- recalled by the corporation, unwilling to sustain any more losses.
-
- So what are you waiting for?!
-
- Notes
- ~~~~~
- * As you will no doubt notice while arming up, there is a planet-wide
- shortage of explosive materials at the present time, which results in
- the unfortunately high prices of the more powerful weapons. All is
- not lost - scattered around your base are weapons caches, containing
- powerful weapons from before the shortage. I would suggest that your
- first action is to move with all speed to the nearest cache and get
- ready!
-
- * The Terminator!s are so powerful that your only chance of defeating them
- is with three or more direct hits from an explosive weapon. This takes
- 100 health points off them, and makes them mad.
-
- * The scanner is damaged from the initial explosion (which destroyed your
- front security door), but from the indistinct readings you gather that
- there may be a few solo Covert Action Droids inside the base...
-
- * Remember that destroying the Terminator!s will end the game.

- 2-Player Suitability
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- This mission works well as a two-player game, although Player one really has
- to be quick off the mark or he hasn't got a chance!
