  3. Some information about the demo.

  5. The music on this demo is quite old, Satan for example was written in march 91.
  6. The reason it took so long to come out was I could not get the Oktalizer play
  7. routine to work at all. So about a week ago I started to convert them down to
  8. 4 voice med songs. Hows the stomach? went fine, the rest were a disaster. OK
  9. so then I picks up the December issue of Amiga Format and low and behold,
  10. Oktamed was on the cover, so I went overdrawn and bought it. There I was,
  11. running down Streatham high street with the magazine held tight in my hands
  12. just waiting for the moment to boot Oktamed. Anyway WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!
  13. There are two main problems with Oktamed, sorry no three. TEMPO, what a
  14. disaster! All the tunes on this demo are running either too fast or slow.
  15. I thought Oktalizers tempo was crap but Oktamed gets the cake. SIZE, it is
  16. just too big. Oktalizer is real small and allows me to created 700K tunes.
  17. (Maybe on the next demo I will include it). Three, it tries to update the
  18. screen to much and that is a real pain. Anyway, the music here in WAS done on
  19. Oktamed but I think I will get my hands on Startracker next time unless anyone
  20. has an Oktalizer play routine that works???

  25. use it on their coverdisks etc. please contact me for permission. If anyone
  26. feels like they have too much change in there pocket, you know where you can
  27. send it. The samples came from everywhere but if you like the overall effect
