- Quizcreator is a program designed to
- help you create your own quiz
- programs.
-
- All the structure is there, all you
- need do is fill in the information.
-
- There are a number of different
- reasons why you may wish to create
- your own quizzes.
-
- You might like to create any of the
- following:
-
- -A trivia game to amuse your friends.
-
- -An educational quiz for your
- children.
-
- -A way of helping you to learn the
- keyboard shortcuts for Deluxe Paint,
- a text editor or any other program
- using keyboard shortcuts.
-
- -A way of helping you learn the
- syntax of a new computer language.
-
- -A way of learning your studies,
- whether they be words of a foreign
- language, technical terms, or the
- periodic table.
-
- The demo program includes 3 short
- sample quizs which I put together
- fairly quickly. They include both
- multiple choice and open ended
- questions.
-
- Quizcreator can create mouse driven
- multiple choice quizzes with up to 6
- choices. The limit of 6 is arbitrary,
- but should be sufficient.
-
- Up to 200 questions can be created
- per quiz. Questions are restricted to
- one line in length, while the choices
- (and the answer) can be up to 32
- characters in length, though this
- should be more than ample.
-
- Each quiz is stored as an ASCII text
- file. You may prefer to edit a quiz
- directly with a text editor.
- Keep in mind though, that the
- question must contain a "?", the
- number after the question shows the
- number of choices for that question
- and the choices must be seperated by
- commas. You can experiment with
- this.
-
- If no choices are created for a
- question then the question becomes
- an open-ended one in which case the
- `quizee' must type in their answer.
- If the spelling is not exactly right
- the answer will be wrong.
-
- The score will be displayed after the
- quiz has been completed.
