  1.     BACKGROUND

  3.  This program consists of a number of chess puzzles which are either  from
  4.  actual game positions, or in the cases when they are composed, similar to
  5.  actual game positions.
  6.  
  7.  Combinations of the same type are grouped together:
  8.      -knight forks
  9.      -double attacks
  10.      -discovered attacks
  11.      -discovered checks
  12.      -pins
  13.      -skewers
  14.      -ties
  15.      -nets
  16.      -queening
  17.      -checkmate(Two sections on this)
  18.  
  19.  There is also a section which includes all kinds of combinations.
  20.  To choose a section of puzzles, select the pull-down menu titled
  21.  Questions and select the appropriate item from the pull-down menu.
  22.  The program will immediately start running.
