  6. This disk contains several working Demo versions of chessprograms written
  7. by Bill Jordan, Australian national Chess master.
  8.  
  9. I am a very experienced chess player and have won many tournaments, including
  10. the Victorian State Championship, City of Melbourne, the Melbourne Club 
  11. Championship, Vic Open, Australian Junior, =3 in the Australian Open and have
  12. represented Australia overseas several times.etc.
  13.  
  14. I have also been coaching for many years and have been Victorian junior
  15. Chess coach, so I have plenty of ideas about chess!
  16.  
  17. These demos are FREEWARE, and can be redistributed freely. Different
  18. programs are not set up in their own drawer, so all the files on the disk
  19. cannot be split up, so it makes sense to distribute the disk as it is.
  20.  
  21. The demo versions contain only one data file, which will be used
  22. regardless of what option you have chosen. So don't be surprised if an
  23. option different from the one you have selected is used!
  24.  
  25. Also, in most cases the demo programs end after the high score table has
  26. been reached. In the full version you usually return to the start.
  27.  
  28. The programs are continually being enhanched and the full versions have
  29. some improvements which the demo versions do not.
  30.  
  31. The full versions of these programs are NOT public domain or shareware,
  32. but are money UP FRONT only.

  34. The full versions are not to be redistributed, thanks.

  36. As programs are enhanced , updates may become available for a
  37. nominal amount.

  39. At this stage all programs should run on any PAL Amigas of any model,
  40. though I am not sure about the A3000.

  42. Several programs need 1 Meg to run. These are Chesspuzzles and
  43. Chessdatabase.

  57. The full version contains approximately 1000 different positions.
  58. Instructions are in the "Tutor.Intro" program.

  65. CHESSRATER
  66. The full version contains 40 different games, each with notes to each
  67. move.

  70. The full version contains approximately 100 different games.

  75. The full version contains approximately 1000 different opening variations,
  76. plus the ability to store your own openings.
