- The Dual Crew and X-Men presents
-
- Palette converter V1.2
-
- Note on V1.2: This version lets you 'rip' palettes from complete pictures.
-
- This small utility lets you design palettes in for example Pixmate, and then
- join several palettes into one file and save it as source or binary.
- You can also make a palette in any paint program and save it as an IFF pic,
- as long as you don't draw anythin in the picture.
-
- When you start the program, you are presented with the options, along with
- the current output file length.
-
- The options:
- 1. Load IFF palette: Simply adds an IFF palette file to the current palette
- file.
- 2. Load raw format palette: Same as 1 but loads raw data.
- 3. Save raw format palette: Saves the current palette file as raw data.
- 4. Save source: This is one of the useful options in this utility. It saves
- the current palette file as a source code for use in assemblers. .S is added
- to the filename for SEKA users!
- 5. Clear workspace: clears the current output file.
- 6. Undo last operation: Perhaps the most powerful option in this program.
- Simply undos the last operation (if you made a mistake).
- 7. Exit program. Yes. It really does.
-
- The program allocates 8 K of workspace, which should be enough, that is about
- 4 screens of copperlist. If it's not enough, just complain to addresses below.
-
- Any bug reports and hints of improvement may be sent to:
