  5. What This Diskette Does
  6. -----------------------
  7. The Video Features Diskette for Windows 95 provides the drivers to:
  8. - Improve the display drawing performance
  9. - Provide the higher resolution (up to 1280x1024 for CRT)
  10. - Provide various color depths (256, 64K, or 16M colors for CRT)
  11.

  87. Installation Guide
  88. ------------------
  89. 1.  Start Windows 95.
  90. 2.  Open My Computer.
  91. 3.  Open Control Panel and open Display; then click on the
  92.     Setting tab.
  93. 4.  Click on the Change Display Type... button.
  94. 5.  Make sure that Trident SuperVGA is set to "Adapter type"
  95.     (as a default value); then click on Change....
  96. 6.  Insert the ThinkPad Video Feature Diskette for Windows 95
  97.     into the diskette drive.
  98. 7.  Click on Have disk... and click on OK.
  99. 8.  Make sure the following is shown as the selection:
  100.      - For ThinkPad 760 series
  101.          for the enhanced video model: IBM ThinkPad (Cyber9385)
  102.          for the standard video model: IBM ThinkPad (Cyber9320)
  103.      - For ThinkPad 365X and 365XD: IBM ThinkPad (Cyber9320)
  104.      - For ThinkPad 560: IBM ThinkPad (Cyber9385/82) PCI
  105. 9.  Click on Close.
  106. 10. Select your screen parameters from the Color palette,
  107.     Desktop area, and Font size; then click on OK.

  109.       Note: If you do not know what to choose, it is recommended
  110.             that you choose 256 Color for the color palette,
  111.             860 by 600 pixels for the Desktop area,
  112.             and Small Fonts for the font size.

  114. 11. Click on Close; then click on Close again.
  115. 12. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  116.     Windows 95 prompts you to restart the computer to make
  117.     the display driver change effective.
