- What This Diskette Does

- The Video Features Diskette for Windows 95 provides the drivers to:
- - Improve the display drawing performance
- - Provide the higher resolution (up to 1280x1024 for CRT)
- - Provide various color depths (256, 64K, or 16M colors for CRT)

- Installation Guide
- ------------------
- 1. Start Windows 95.
- 2. Open My Computer.
- 3. Open Control Panel and open Display; then click on the
- Setting tab.
- 4. Click on the Change Display Type... button.
- 5. Make sure that Trident SuperVGA is set to "Adapter type"
- (as a default value); then click on Change....
- 6. Insert the ThinkPad Video Feature Diskette for Windows 95
- into the diskette drive.
- 7. Click on Have disk... and click on OK.
- 8. Make sure the following is shown as the selection:
- - For ThinkPad 760 series
- for the enhanced video model: IBM ThinkPad (Cyber9385)
- for the standard video model: IBM ThinkPad (Cyber9320)
- - For ThinkPad 365X and 365XD: IBM ThinkPad (Cyber9320)
- - For ThinkPad 560: IBM ThinkPad (Cyber9385/82) PCI
- 9. Click on Close.
- 10. Select your screen parameters from the Color palette,
- Desktop area, and Font size; then click on OK.

- Note: If you do not know what to choose, it is recommended
- that you choose 256 Color for the color palette,
- 860 by 600 pixels for the Desktop area,
- and Small Fonts for the font size.

- 11. Click on Close; then click on Close again.
- 12. Follow the instructions on the screen.
- Windows 95 prompts you to restart the computer to make
- the display driver change effective.
