- What The Diskettes Do

- The Utility Diskettes for Windows 3.1/Windows95 provide the following
- utility programs for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95:
- - ThinkPad Features program (setup program)
- - Fuel-Gauge program
- - Docking Control program for Windows3.1

- Installation Guide

- (For Windows 3.1)
- 1. Start Windows 3.1.
- 2. Select File from the Program Manager window; then select
- Run... from the pull-down menu.
- 3. Insert the Utility Diskette for Windows 3.1/Windows 95
- into the diskette drive;
- then type A:â–“INSTALLW and press Enter.
- 4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
- The default choices are already highlighted at the Installation
- Options screen.

- Note: If you installed Windows 95 on a computer in which Windows 3.1
- and the ThinkPad Features program were already installed,
- the ThinkPad Features program migrates to the Start Menu
- of Windows 95 automatically.

- 1. Start Windows 95.
- 2. Insert the Utility Diskette for Windows 3.1/Windows 95
- into the diskette drive.
- 3. Click on Start; then click on Run..
- 4. Type A:INSTALLW and click on OK.
- 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
