  13. INSTALLATION PROCESS:

  15. Step 1.  Copy MWQTINST.EXE to hard disk.
  16. Step 2.  At prompt, type MWQTINST
  17. Step 3.  After file has exploded, type SETUP
  18. Step 4.  Follow the instructions in Setup.

  20. About the Setup Program:
  21.  
  22. The Setup  program will  install the Mwave  QuickTests program  files into your
  23. Mwave subdirectory and add an icon into the Mwave programs group in Windows.

  25. After installing the  program, double-click the "QuickTests"  icon in the Mwave
  26. programs group to run the program.

  28. About Mwave QuickTests:
  29.  
  30.  ¿  The  Mwave  QuickTests utility  provides  a  simple  interface  for testing
  31.     various features  of your  Mwave product.  It will  run under  Windows 3.x,
  32.     Windows95 and Win-OS/2.
  33.  
  34.  ¿  The Audio test plays an  audio clip to the speakers. This helps verify that
  35.     audio software  is correctly installed  and that the  speakers are properly
  36.     connected.

  38.  ¿  The Modem  test takes the  telephone off-hook. This  helps verify that your
  39.     Mwave modem  is correctly  installed and that  your phone  line is properly
  40.     connected.
  41.  
  42.  ¿  The Microphone test  asks you to speak into  the microphone and verify that
  43.     you  hear your  voice  through the  speakers.  This help  verify  that your
  44.     microphone is connected and functioning.
  45.  
  46.  ¿  The Handset test will try  to detect when you to pick the telephone handset
  47.     up and put it back  down. This helps verify that your telephone is properly
  48.     connected.

  50.  ¿  By selecting  "View System Files"  you can conveniently  view important DOS
  51.     and  Windows  system  files  including  AUTOEXEC.BAT,  CONFIG.SYS, WIN.INI,
  52.     SYSTEM.INI and MWAVE.INI.
