  9. The accompanying MPEG Features Diskette can enable or update MPEG
  10. function in the ThinkPad system.

  53. Installation Guide
  54. ------------------

  56. Note:
  57.     - Use this driver diskette only for the ThinkPad 760ED.
  58.     - Before installing, make sure that you have installed
  59.       the following software in the computer:
  60.          - Video Features Diskette for Windows 95 (Version 1.10 or above)
  61.          - Mwave DSP Features Diskette for Windows 95
  62.          - Video Capture Driver II for Windows 95 (Version 1.11 or above)

  64.    1. Start Windows 95.
  65.  
  66.    2. Open My Computer.
  67.  
  68.    3. Go to Control Panel, and then go to Add New Hardware.
  69.  
  70.    4. Click on Next. When asked "Search for your new hardware?,"
  71.       select No.

  73.    5. Click on Next and select Sound, video and game controller.
  74.  
  75.    6. Click on Next.
  76.  
  77.    7. Insert the MPEG Features Diskette for Windows 95 into the
  78.       diskette drive.  Click on Have Disk....
  79.  
  80.    8. Select IBM MPEG CD-i/VideoCD (mci) and click on OK.

  82.    9. Click on OK, and click on Finish.

  84.   10. When Windows 95 prompts you to restart the computer, click on No.
  85.       Repeat step 3 to 10 to install IBM MPEG Files/ISO9660 (mci).
  86.       On step 8, however, select IBM MPEG Files/ISO9660 (mci).

  88.   11. When Windows 95 prompts you to restart the computer, click on No.
  89.       Repeat step 3 to 10 to install IBM MPEG PCI Bridge.
  90.       On step 8, however, select IBM MPEG PCI Bridge.

  92.   12. If this is the first time to install IBM MPEG PCI Bridge,
  93.       you must do the following one-time operation.
  94.       Select the following in sequence.

  96.       Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager -> Other Devices
  97.       ->PCI Multimedia Device.

  99.       Select Remove and OK (This procedure removes
  100.       the device from the unknown class and adds it to sound,
  101.       video, and game controllers).

  103.   13. Shut down the system and reboot.
