  6. What This Diskette Does

  9. The accompanying MPEG Features Diskette enables or updates the MPEG
  10. function in the ThinkPad system.

  12. Only the ThinkPad 760ED is supported.

  55. Installation Guide
  56. ------------------

  58. Notes:
  59.    - Use this driver diskette only for the ThinkPad 760ED.
  60.    - Before installing, make sure that you have installed
  61.      the following software in the computer:
  62.         - Video Features Diskette for Windows (Version 1.10 or later)
  63.         - Mwave DSP Features Diskette for Windows
  64.         - Microsoft Win32s Setup Diskette
  65.         - Video Capture Driver II for Windows 3.1
  66.           (Version 1.11 or later)
  67.         - Digital Video Producer (including Video for Windows run time)

  69.  1.  Start Windows.
  70.  
  71.  2.  Select MAIN.
  72.  
  73.  3.  Select CONTROL PANEL; then select DRIVERS.
  74.  
  75.      Note: You must first uninstall previous drivers for
  76.            the installation of the new drivers to work!
  77.            Follow steps 4-10.

  79.  4.  Select (MCI)CD-i/VideoCD from the list of installed drivers.
  80.      If the driver is not there, go to step 6.

  82.  5.  Select Remove, and then confirm by selecting YES.

  84.  6.  Select Don't Restart Now.

  86.  7.  Select (MCI)IBM Mpeg-2 from the list of installed drivers.
  87.      If the driver is not there, then:
  88.          A: If you removed a driver in steps 3-5, restart your system.
  89.          B: Otherwise, go to step 11 and continue
  90.             installing MPEG drivers.
  91.  8.  Select Remove, then confirm by selecting YES.

  93.  9.  Select Restart Now.

  95. 10.  After restarting Windows, select MAIN.

  97. 11.  Select CONTROL PANEL; then select DRIVERS to install the
  98.      MCI drivers.

  100. 12.  Select the ADD option.

  102. 13.  Select Unlisted or Updated driver, specify the installation
  103.      diskette path, and press Enter.

  105.      The installation driver recognizes the (MCI)IBM MPEG-2 and
  106.      (MCI) CD-i/VideoCD drivers.

  108. 14.  Select (MCI) CD-i/VideoCD and press OK.
  109.  
  110. 15.  Select Don't Restart Now.
  111.  
  112. 16.  Repeat steps 12 and 13.

  114. 17.  Select (MCI) IBM MPEG-2 and press OK.
  115.  
  116. 18.  After the driver is installed, select Now to start Windows.
