- Installation Guide
- ------------------

- Notes:
- - Use this driver diskette only for the ThinkPad 760ED.
- - Before installing, make sure that you have installed
- the following software in the computer:
- - Video Features Diskette for Windows (Version 1.10 or later)
- - Mwave DSP Features Diskette for Windows
- - Microsoft Win32s Setup Diskette
- - Video Capture Driver II for Windows 3.1
- (Version 1.11 or later)
- - Digital Video Producer (including Video for Windows run time)

- 1. Start Windows.
-
- 2. Select MAIN.
-
- 3. Select CONTROL PANEL; then select DRIVERS.
-
- Note: You must first uninstall previous drivers for
- the installation of the new drivers to work!
- Follow steps 4-10.
-
- 4. Select (MCI)CD-i/VideoCD from the list of installed drivers.
- If the driver is not there, go to step 6.
-
- 5. Select Remove, and then confirm by selecting YES.
-
- 6. Select Don't Restart Now.
-
- 7. Select (MCI)IBM Mpeg-2 from the list of installed drivers.
- If the driver is not there, then:
- A: If you removed a driver in steps 3-5, restart your system.
- B: Otherwise, go to step 11 and continue
- installing MPEG drivers.
- 8. Select Remove, then confirm by selecting YES.

- 9. Select Restart Now.

- 10. After restarting Windows, select MAIN.
-
- 11. Select CONTROL PANEL; then select DRIVERS to install the
- MCI drivers.
-
- 12. Select the ADD option.
-
- 13. Select Unlisted or Updated driver, specify the installation
- diskette path, and press Enter.
-
- The installation driver recognizes the (MCI)IBM MPEG-2 and
- (MCI) CD-i/VideoCD drivers.
-
- 14. Select (MCI) CD-i/VideoCD and press OK.
-
- 15. Select Don't Restart Now.
-
- 16. Repeat steps 12 and 13.
-
- 17. Select (MCI) IBM MPEG-2 and press OK.
-
- 18. After the driver is installed, select Now to start Windows.
