  4. IBM ThinkPad World Trade 755 DAA Option Disk for Mwave 2.0
  5.  
  6. This file upgrades the ThinkPad 755 DAA option disk and is compatible ONLY with
  7. U.S. English version of the ThinkPad 755 28.8Kbps Modem Upgrade (Mwave 2.0).
  8. ThinkPad customers outside the U.S. and Canada may need to install this file if
  9. downloading this Mwave 2.0 upgrade.  This will prevent any adverse effects to the
  10. functionality of their modem and telephony,  Currently, the following countries are
  11. supported(1) by this diskette:  Australia, Austria(2), Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hong
  12. Kong, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland(2), and the United Kingdom.  Other countries
  13. will be supported as their governments conclude homologation approval and
  14. certification.

  16. Software in the DAA option kit is updated by installing this diskette.  Below are
  17. brief installation instructions for use after downloading the file:

  19.         - From a DOS prompt in DOS, Windows, or OS/2 Warp
  20.         - Type "A:INSTALL"
  21.         - When complete, "restart" your system to have changes take effect
  22.  
  23.         (Note:  If using from OS/2 Warp, please insure the Mwave modem is closed
  24.                  before starting the installation process.)

  26.         (1) To use this software, some countries may require an upgrade to the
  27.              physical DAA also.
  28.         (2) These countries do not support FaxWorks Voice.
