  35. ThinkPad Audio Features for OS/2 Warp Diskette Installation Procedure:

  38. - In an OS/2 Window run the MINSTALL.EXE program on the
  39.   installation disk by typing "A:MINSTALL".  Select AudioDrive
  40.   ES1688 by clicking the mouse on that item.  A checkmark means
  41.   it is selected.  If WinOS2 is installed in the system, you
  42.   can select ES1688 WinOS2/Windows Audio support also.  If not,
  43.   make sure that that item is not selected.  Click the Install
  44.   button to start the installation.  Once the drivers are
  45.   installed, shutdown and restart OS/2 for the new ES1688
  46.   drivers to take effect.

  48.   The OS/2 Audio Driver supports Advanced Power Management (APM).
  49.   It is recommended that users stop audio applications before
  50.   putting the system into suspend mode.
  51.  
  52.   The "Selective Install" window in the OS/2 "System Setup", will
  53.   display "AudioDrive [ESS 688]" for "Multimedia Device Support",
  54.   after you have installed the ES1688 Audio Driver.
