  1. In this issue of the Amiga World ToolChest we present an animation by
  2. Gene Brawn.  I'll let the author explain the process of the animation's
  3. creation...

  5.     About "The Education of 'Cool' Cougar"

  7. This piece began life as an experiment in mixing live backgrounds and 
  8. hand-drawn cartoon characters.  This was so successful that I decided to
  9. expand the test into a full blown traditional-style animation.  
  10.  
  11. The challenges were formidable (just the thing to keep my interest): first, 
  12. I wanted more than one scene with no pauses; second, the whole thing had 
  13. to fit in 1 megabyte of memory; third, I wanted to use sound effects to 
  14. punctuate the action and finally, it had to tell a story.  The result is
  15. "The Education of 'Cool' Cougar."
