  3.    THE PARSER

  6.    The parser in The Golden Fleece is certainly as sophisticated as any  you   
  7.    will have come across in previous adventures.  You  communicate  with the   
  8.    game by typing in your entry in plain English when you see the  prompt >,   
  9.    finishing with the <RETURN> key.                                            
  10.                                                                                
  11.    To move around, just type in the desired direction, remembering that from   
  12.    any location there may be the eight compass directions: NORTH, NORTHEAST,   
  13.    EAST, SOUTHEAST, SOUTH, SOUTHWEST, WEST, NORTHWEST, plus UP and DOWN  and   
  14.    IN and OUT. These can be abbreviated to N,NE,E,SE,S,SW,W,NW,U,D, although   
  15.    IN and OUT have no abbreviations.  The  commands can be expressed in many   
  16.    ways - thus, NORTH could be typed in as `NORTH',  `GO NORTH',  `GO TO THE   
  17.    NORTH' or simply `N'.

  19.    With certain verbs you are able to use multiple objects. Thus if you find   
  20.    yourself in a location in which  you  wish to acquire several items,  you   
  21.    could type in `TAKE THE LAMP THE SHOTGUN AND THE LOG'.  Note that `THE' &   
  22.    `AND' are understood, but not required,  and the above command could just   
  23.    as easily be `TAKE LAMP SHOTGUN LOG'.
