  3. This disk has been made so people can get on with CLI a lot better! This disk
  4. features some excellent PD/shareware programs that really do make CLI usage
  5. far easier - after using the programs for only a short time you'll realise 
  6. the ease and timesaving that the utilities provide. For full information on 
  7. Utilmaster read the document provided, the operation of that particular 
  8. program is very similar to the others so you should be able to use both CLI
  9. Wizard and Dir_Util V5 with few problems. Texed is a demo version of 
  10. Microsmith's TED text editor - and is particularly good for small documents
  11. and startup-sequences.DiskX  is a good disk editor and very well programmed.
  12. Viewboot is another virus utility that enables you to look for new viruses in
  13. both the boot sector and memory.

  18. This programs operates very much like Utilmaster the makor difference being 
  19. that there is just one directory window rather than two.To swap between 
  20. source and destination disks just flick the switch on the lower part of the
  21. screen. It offers a similar range of commands to Utilmaster BUT also a range
  22. of commands that can be set by the user - I have included a few sample ones,
  23. more info on that a little later.

  27.                 INFO on standard commands....
  28.  
  29. ALL        Select ALL the files (highlight) in the current directory,
  30.         once highlighted the files can be moved/view/copied etc.
  31.  
  32. CLEAR        Deselct any highlighted files in the current directory.
  33.  
  34. BYTE        Calculates the total space occupied by the current
  35.         highlighted files.Very useful for working out disk-space etc.
  36.  
  37. ROOT        Selects the first directory (the ROOT directory).
  38.  
  39. PARENT        When you are viewing the contents of a sub-directory (a draw)
  40.         this command returns you to the previous directory.
  41.  
  42. RUN        Runs the selected program in the background. NOTE: you may
  43.         have to look BEHIND CLI Wizard for the program!
  44.  
  45. COPY        Copies the current highlighted files to the destination
  46.         selected - default is RAM:
  47.  
  48. SINFO        Gives amount of space available on current source disc.
  49.  
  50. DINFO          "      "    "    "      "      "    "    destination disc.

  52. PAK        This command will NOT function - Use CRUNCH! 
  53.  
  54. MOVE        Like COPY but only moves the files and doesnt copy all 
  55.         information - excellent for moving lots of files from one
  56.         directory to another on the SAME disc.
  57.  
  58. RENAME        Renames the current highlighted file to the destination
  59.         filename.
  60.  
  61. DELETEDIR    Deletes the highlighted EMPTY directories.
  62.  
  63. MAKEDIR        Makes a directory as specified in the destination path.
  64.  
  65. ASSIGNED    Information as to what is assigned to what on the system.
  66.  
  67. SHOW        Shows the ILBM (IFF) picture files highlighted.
  68.  
  69. PLAY        We couldnt find a file to make this work!
  70.  
  71. READ        Shows the text contained in the highlighted file.

  73. EDIT        Puts you into the text-ed and allows you to change and modify 
  74.         the file - Note TEXED is a limited demo version that allows
  75.         files upto 6K maximum.
  76.  
  77. PRINT        Prints the highlighted files.
  78.  
  79. ARC        Compresses (ARC's) the files selected into an ARC file, for
  80.         more information on ARC, type ARC ? at the CLI prompt.

  82. ARCLIST        List all the files in a '.ARC' file.

  84. UNARC        Remove all the files from an '.ARC' file.

  88.             SPECIAL COMMANDS ADDED BY 17 BIT SOFTWARE
  89.  
  90. It is possible to add your favourite CLI utilities and commands to CLIWIZ
  91. by editing the 'wizard.dat' file on this disk. Just load it into tex-ed and
  92. change the files as explained in the brief document that is also in that 
  93. particular file. Examine the ones I have put in to see how it works.
  94.  
  95. CONTROL        This runs a program that enables you to do various things
  96.         with the boot sector - such as writing NOFASTMEM to the boot
  97.         sector and killing viruses.NOTE: As with other programs that
  98.         run in the background, you will have to look for them BEHIND
  99.         CLI Wizard.
  100.  
  101. TEXTED        Runs the text-editor.
  102.  
  103. LUXBOOT        This runs a very good boot-sector message writing program
  104.         that allows you to create weird and wonderful boot sector
  105.         messages although be warned! This could confuse some virus
  106.         killers.
  107.  
  108. SALVAGE        This runs the excellent DISK SALVAGE program - you do need
  109.         TWO DRIVES and put the source in df0: the destination in DF1:
  110.         The destination must be a blank formatted disk. Disk salve
  111.         rescues the disk from errors and corrupt files.
  112.  
  113. FLOAD        This runs the FASTLOAD program which gives the disk drive
  114.         prority so things get loaded much quicker including dirs
  115.         although the Amiga will not multi-task as well and the mouse
  116.         is affected during disk-access.
  117.  
  118. DDOCTOR        Runs the discdoctor.
  119.  
  120. INSTALL        Runs the CLI command INSTALL.
  121.  
  122. PREFS        Brings up the preferences utility.
  123.  
  124. CRUNCH!        Runs the excellent compactor program that was featured on our
  125.         third update - it crunches programs with a good saving on 
  126.         disc space and decompacts them on running. Note: It cannot
  127.         crunch ALL files and may give 'BAD HUNC' which is normal.

  129. NEWBOOT        Writes a boot sector to the disc that asks if any external
  130.         drives and memory should be turned off enabling some software
  131.         to operate normally on expanded systems.
  132.  
  133. EXECUTE        Executes the highlighted BATCH file.
  134.  
  135. VIEWBOOT    Runs the VIEWBOOT program for virus checking.
  136.  
  137. VIRUS X        Runs the Virus X program, read VIRUS DOC for more info.

  143. DOSHELPER    Excellent AmigaDOS HELP facility.Gives all syntax.

  145. Plus the following dos commands (so you can use the disc as a standard CLI
  146. disk if you wish).

  148. Type, Virus X, Stack, Show, Setmap, Less, Loadwb, Makedir, Killer, Newcli,
  149. Nfast, Protect, Run, Setclock, Arc, Assign, Big, Boot, Bootwriter, 
  150. Boot_Control, Cd, Cls, Copy, Crunch, Delete, Discsalv, doctor, Ed, Endcli,
  151. Execute, Fastload, Gilbert, Info and Install.
