  6. Which programs can I use these fonts with?

  8. These fonts can be used with Pagesetter 3, Professional Page 2.1 (and
  9. above), Final Copy, Final Writer, Wordworth 2+, Workbench 2.0 (and above)
  10. and Typesmith.

  16. I have correctly copied the fonts to my CGFonts: directory and run
  17. CG_Update, but the fonts do not appear in the the font list?
  18.  
  19. CG_Update does not always update the fontlist file correctly. If this is
  20. the case then you should delete the existing Fontlist.pp file. Then re-run
  21. the CG_Update program. Re-load the program and it will re-create the file,
  22. including the new fonts you have just added.

  25. When I type from within the program, the screen displays boxes instead
  26. of the typeface itself?
  27.  
  28. This could happen for a number of reasons. It is sometimes caused if you
  29. haven't run the CG_Update programs after copying the typefaces to the
  30. CGFonts: directory. It could happen if you are low on memory and the
  31. computer does not have enough free store to calculate this typeface. Try
  32. making the size smaller and buying a memory expansion! Finally it could
  33. happen if the font has been corrupted. This happens mostly with complex
  34. fonts. It occurs when the typeface the Compugraphic version was created
  35. from is more complex then the Compugraphic format allows.

  41. Can I use these Compugraphic fonts with Pen Pal?
  42.  
  43. In theory it is possible to use them with Pen Pal but it is not really
  44. recommended, for this Pen Pal's big brother, Final Copy 2, is the perfect
  45. solution. However to use them with Pen Pal you must have
  46. Kickstart/Workbench 2.0 MINIMUM. Load the fountain program to convert the
  47. supplied fonts into workbench format. Full details should be in your
  48. manuals.

  54. I can't get Fountain to load?
  55.  
  56. The reason for this is that it needs a more up to date version of the
  57. diskfont.library. To solve this problem, you must copy the diskfont.library
  58. which is in the libs directory of your AmigaFonts2.0 disk to your Workbench
  59. libs directory. However, the new version of the library is much larger and
  60. so you may have to delete something on your COPY of your Workbench disk in
  61. order to make space.

  70. Again there are a number of possible reason for this. It could be either
  71. that you have run out of free memory in which case use a smaller point
  72. size or get yourself more memory. It could be that the font is corrupted.
  73. If so it could be my fault or a bad copy of the disk. If you think it is
  74. the font that is corrupt, not the disk please let me know!

  76. I have installed the fonts on the disk but they do not appear in the
  77. font selector?

  79. Have you remembered to run the AGFA-Install program. If not, it is included
  80. on one of your original AGFA-Fonts disks. If you have then it is likely
  81. that not all the fonts were installed correctly. try running AGFA-Install
  82. again.
